You will apply using our online application (SchoolMint) and it will send your application to each specialty center to which you wish to apply. Be sure to only select those that you wish to apply. Each specialty center will require applicants to request via email TWO confidential recommendations from middle school teachers that they will submit. In addition, review the information below to determine other requirements that are specific to each of the centers. For further information, contact the Specialty Center Coordinator for the particular center(s) in which you are interested. All students will be notified via SchoolMint of the status of their application(s) on March 5, 2025. Students selected for admission must accept or decline the invitation no later than March 17, 2025.

First Recommendation - Middle School English or Social Studies teacher (email teacher requesting recommendation in October)
Second Recommendation - Another middle school teacher of your choice (email teacher requesting recommendation in October)
Statement of Interest
Statement of Interest - In an essay format, write about your interest in the Center for the Humanities, as well as what you can bring to the program. In other words, tell us about who you are, what you are interested in, and why you are applying to this specialty center.
(200-250 words, to be submitted via the School Mint Application.)
Interview
Individual interviews to be scheduled for one of the following dates: 1/30, 2/6, 2/12
